Foundations Levitations Inversions Elevations Build your foundational skills to set yourself up for success throughout your whole pole journey! Great starting point for building base strength & skills & continued strength and skill building. Take this class as many times as you need, there is a lot to learn! Classes will range from introduction to new moves, spins, floor work, small combos, static pole, conditioning and stretching. All your groundwork! Goals to achieve on BOTH SIDES (but not limited to) prior to Levitations to get the most out of class: Basic Walks Pivots Step Arounds Pirouettes Body Rolls Basic Floor Work Back Slides Fan Kicks Basic spins Strong Pole Crunch Are you ready to start climbing & getting off the ground & on the pole? YOUR ARE READY TO JOIN LEVITATIONS WHEN: -Can lift your knees up to your chest & back down in a controlled manner with no feeling of strain/pain -Base knowledge of the moves listed above. The moves listed above may be used in warm ups in Levitations & will not be broken down the way they are in Foundations. It is also good to bounce between 2 levels. If you feel you are ready for Levitations but it still feels difficult, keep taking the foundations & add in the Levitations as you feel. Skin friction is the hardest part, so bouncing between the two can help make it easier. If you are super sore from Levitations, hop in Foundations to stay moving. Listen to your body. If there is a specific move you would like to try, mention it to the instructor either at the BEGINNING OF CLASS or send it to the instructor prior to class. Time permitting we will give it a shot. Instructor may turn down requests if felt unsafe for any reason. What to wear: Wear whatever you are comfortable in in this class! We won't be doing moves requiring skin friction, so feel free to wear whatever you comfortable in! Knee pads are always great as you get used to techniques to stay off your knees while doing any floor work. Socks/lyrical slippers/half toe socks are also always great to keep in your pole bag. Please be aware of the cancellation/reschedule policy. Please be aware that Twirl Lit Fitness allows all genders to attend.

We still want you practicing safely & we need to make sure your body is warm! Injuries SUCK to come back from, so make sure you are warm! If you would rather attend a different class due to being so late, that is also an option ONLY if picture of the train is presented IN PERSON.
