1 Hr Class **Must do Pre Req Studio Intro before taking this class. ** MUST pre-book online to secure spot. Walk-ins welcome at own risk of class being full, cancelled, etc. Ages 16 and up. (Minors must refer to rules on the Intro tab) "F.L.I.E." Foundations Levitations Inversions Elevations Focus will be on prepping our bodies for the moves that require more strength & skin friction & start taking things off the ground. "Levitate" Classes will consist of more difficult groundwork, aerial moves, combos, static/spin pole, pole sits, pole climbs, isolated muscle conditioning and stretching. Goals to achieve on BOTH SIDES (but not limited to) in Levitations prior to Inversions in order to get the most out of class: Various Spins Shoulder Slide Forearm Stands Backwards Rollovers Jasmine Figurehead Hood Ornament Genie Side Martini Sit Apprentice & Variations Crucifix Stargazer Swan Air Walks 1/4 Moon Pole Splits Pole Sits Pole Climbs Spin Pole Invert Prep Aerial Hang Chopper Are you ready to start going upside down?! You are ready to join the next level Inversions class when you have a good grasp & feel strong on all the moves listed above as well as a solid foundation on all foundational moves. You need to have a solid Chopper without any strain/pain while lifting your knees up to your chest & back down in a controlled manner. Make sure you have especially mastered your climbs, sits, jasmine, apprentice, & pole sit to apprentice. It is also good to bounce between levels. If you feel you are progressing in your level but missed some of the foundational moves or need to refresh, it is always good to still take those foundational classes or sign up for open pole to practice. There is so much to learn & remember! What to wear: This class does require skin friction, so please dress down - sports bra/tank top/small top, shorts, etc. Or there is also sticky wear you can purchase. We will be sticking to the pole so we need that friction. Grip Aid There are also different grip aids available. We have Itac2 & Dry Hands available for purchase at the studio. Please be aware of the cancellation/reschedule policy. Please be aware that Twirl Lit Fitness allows all genders to attend.
Log into your account to cancel/reschedule. 12 HOURS MINIMUM notice prior to class time must be given or class is forfeited. Unlimited Memberships require the same notice, or full class price fee is due and membership is suspended until fee is paid. Pole Parties, Private Lessons, or Couples Candlelight Night require a MINIMUM of 48 HOURS notice or else payment is forfeited. No exceptions. No Refunds or trades. Unless in the event of a medical emergency, credit may be given if a medical note from a licensed practitioner is provided for the specified date & time of missed class. Credits expire 1 month from issue date. Bookings close 12 hours prior to class start time. 15-MINUTE LATE In consideration of other students and for safety reason, please arrive no more than 15 minutes after your sessions scheduled start time or you forfeit your class. Late arrivals do not have adequate time to properly warm up, and are at higher risk of injury. You may depart at any time once the session has started. TRAIN POLICY: To keep things fair, if you get stuck at a train take a picture and show it to instructor IN PERSON. Anything other than in person will NOT credit you. If you end up being more than 15 mins late due to the train, and you would like to still attend class, show instructor your picture and make sure to hop in doing a full body warm up prior to hopping on to pole stuff. We still want you practicing safely & we need to make sure your body is warm! Injuries SUCK to come back from, so make sure you are warm! If you would rather attend a different class due to being so late, that is also an option ONLY if picture of the train is presented IN PERSON.
